Our program at Northstar Daycare Center for 3-year-olds is all about fun and learning!  During our

pre-school time, your child will learn: Bible/Bible verses, their alphabet and letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week, moths of the year, how to write their name, and much much more!

 

We also spend time making crafts, free playtime, gym, music, field trips and weather permitting, go outside on the playground! Through these activities, we encourage positive self esteem and inspire the children to be leaders. The children learn to cooperate with others.  We offer preschool and daycare for our children.  They are welcome all year long.  They get a new summer program each year.

 

We have found that children leaving the home for the first time have reactions such as curiousity, anxiousness, excitement and possibly fear. Although these are common, within a week or two the children become more comfortable with their teachers and new setting. (It's usually harder for the parents!)
