Our 3 Year old program at Northstar Daycare & Preschool is all about fun and learning!  During our

pre-school time, your child will learn: Bible/Bible verses, the alphabet, letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week, moths of the year, how to write their name, and much more!

 

We also spend time making crafts, doing experiments, singing, dancing and playing. We have in house field trips throughout the school year and we go outside as much as possible. These activities promote team work, positive self esteem and inspire the children to be leaders. 

 

We have found that children leaving the home for the first time have reactions such as curiosity, anxiousness, excitement and possibly fear. Although these are common, within a week or two the children become more comfortable with their teachers and new setting. (It's usually harder for the parents!)
